Western Swing Society (WSS) of Sacramento: Opening the 35th Hall of Fame Induction Celebration on Sunday, October 2, 2016, was the Chuck Hayes Tribute Band. Here are a few of the highlights. The WSS was the first western swing music society in the nation, founded in 1981. The Western Swing Hall of Fame Music Festival is held annually on the first week- end of October.

1990 Lincoln County Cowboy Symposium Glencoe Rural Events Center New Mexico It was such a treat to hear from Texas Playboy Bobby Koefer (NWWSMS HOF 1992) last month (December 2018). He wanted to share the history of New Mexico's Lincoln County Cowboy Symposium along with a video taken from the first event in 1990.
